Winter is always an important time in the world of natural wine in France. Angers, Montpellier and Paris play host to a whole host of wine fairs, where winemakers and wine and food professionals meet, and where many small winemakers set up shop in the fair parking lots to showcase their creations. It’s no mean feat, however, to find your way around all these fairs, so here’s a short list with the essential information.
Trade fairs in Angers
Vermilion

It’s happening in the center of Angers at the In Arte Veritas art gallery, at 16 Rue des Lices, ten minutes from the train station. The gallery covers an area of 600 m2, with some fifteen rooms filled with works of art and bar areas. The salon will host 10 winemakers, each as passionate as the next, who together will form a journey through the entire gallery. At the end of the itinerary, you’ll discover a free tasting room with 3 tables of white, orange and bubbly wines.
Thanks to its format, this is undoubtedly the best place to taste the maximum number of references in the minimum time.

The Penitents
