Why?
We have two goals. Sublime the earth that we borrow to our children and spread natural wine, some good, tasty, awesome, easy-to-drink natural wine. Read moreHow?
We are establishing a network of committed winemakers. All are certified organic, respecting strict specifications and applying no synthetic pesticides, insecticides or weedkillers to their vines. The grapes are harvested by hand to promote quality, as well as the social ties, human energy and festivities that harvesting creates. After systematic maceration for reds and oranges, and occasional maceration for whites, the grapes are pressed.
The juice is simply put into tanks, foudres and barrels, and then we let the wine do its own thing. Read more
The wine
Did you know that every year more than 50,000 tonnes of pesticides are poured into French vineyards, and more than 4.2 tonnes of sulfur are added directly to the bottles you drink? A multitude of products are added to the wine, which ends up being bludgeoned by heavy operations. Does it give you a headache?
Yup, our heads hurt too. Natural wines are 100% grape, nothing is added, nothing is taken away. If you don't drink natural yet, do it for the environment, or for the love of taste.
The concept
In addition to a number of ephemeral cuvées, we offer a permanent range of 5 wines. Each cuvée features an original character on its label, which does not change, unlike its contents, which evolve with each new batch. All follow the same specifications.
The taste varies, but the underlying reasons that drive you to open a bottle of Pépin are immovable.
